Crib Civil is fully committed to ensuring the health and safety of all persons who may be affected by our projects, through employees, contractors, clients and any other stakeholders.

  • Establishing, implementing and maintaining realistic Health & Safety objectives and targets through regular review and environmental auditing
  • Implementing and maintaining a structured Integrated Health & Safety Management System, based on continuous improvement, which will be regularly reviewed to maintain relevance to the project requirements
  • We understand the importance of improvement which our continuous improvement program is based
  • We is proactive in the elimination of work-related injury and illness to our employees, contractors, client representatives, visitors and the general public by integrating Workplace Health and Safety principles into everyday management of our work.
  • To achieve this goal, Crib Civil ensures that management and supervisory personnel are competent in and implement suitable health and safety management system and programs as a priority. We undertake to provide necessary resources and support to all our work sites.
  • While ongoing encourage is given with support for all employees to work safely and ensure their own and others working around them are also safe. This commitment is communicated through toolbox talks, HSE meetings, daily prestart meetings, SWMS, risk assessment and pre- construction Hazard id and risk assessments.
  • Proactive rehabilitation process and planning
  • In particular, we have established and will maintain, review and continually improve our program for management of workplace health and safety as applied to the provision of our services. This program includes:
    • Demonstrated leadership and commitment to workplace health and safety
    • Complying with relevant legislation, regulations and construction industry standards
    • Establishing measurable objectives and targets to quantify our health and safety performance and demonstrate continual improvement
      • Make calculated, educated and informed decisions while ensuring continuous consultation and communication with employees, contractors and client on health and safety issues
    • Providing and maintaining safe plant, safe systems of work and a safe environment
    • Clearly defining responsibilities and accountabilities for employees and contractors
    • Providing adequate information, training and supervision to employees and contractors
    • Identifying, reporting and feedback to employees and contractors regarding potential health and safety hazards
    • Developing and implementing methods to eliminate or control health and safety hazards
    • Developing health and safety awareness amongst our employees and contractors and encouraging all persons to be their own safety supervisor
    • Regular monitoring and auditing of our health and safety performance and the identification of corrective actions to improve this performance.
